The year is 1985. The place is New Jersey. A wannabe rock star (aka a professional wedding singer) is left at the altar, and vows to take every other wedding down with him—that is until winsome waitress Julia wins his affection and makes him change his tune.
Directed and Choreographed by Janna Kozloski. Music Directed by Marshall Pokrentowski.
Auditioners are asked to prepare an approximately 60-second cut of an up-tempo song from popular music or musical theatre repertoire that lends itself to the style and era of the show being cast. We prefer not to hear songs from the show itself. Come to your audition with a marked copy of your music in a binder for the pianist.
Video submissions will be accepted until 9:30pm on Tuesday, April 29. Although BTG recognizes the need for some actors to submit video auditions, live auditions are preferred to video submissions. Email audition videos to baldwinsvilletheatreguild@gmail.com. In the subject line place "LAST NAME, First Name - Wedding Singer Audition". Please attach a headshot and resume.
BTG is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. As such, we encourage performers of all races and ethnicities, gender identities, sexualities and abilities to attend auditions. Please note: We will be auditioning actors 18 and older for this production. Actors should be 18 by the final date of auditions.
Rehearsals will begin in late August with tentative Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday rehearsal times. Not all dates will be utilized, and not all will be called for each rehearsal.

Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
Directed and Choreographed by Kate Lemos Brown. Music Directed by Lynnette Brown. Vocal Directed by Derek Greabell.
A vanished father. A pill-popping mother. Three sisters harboring shady little secrets. When the large Weston family unexpectedly reunites after Dad disappears, their Oklahoman family homestead explodes in a maelstrom of repressed truths and unsettling secrets. Mix in Violet, the drugged-up, scathingly acidic matriarch, and you’ve got a Pulitzer Prize-winning play that unflinchingly and uproariously exposes the dark side of the Midwestern American family.
Note: Viewer discretion is advised. August: Osage County contains mature themes, including familial dysfunction, addiction, and emotional turmoil. The play features strong language and confrontational dialogue that may not be suitable for all audiences. Viewer discretion is advised, especially for individuals sensitive to these themes or those uncomfortable with depictions of intense family dynamics.
The subject matter of this play is for mature audiences only and does not reflect views and values of the First Presbyterian Church of Baldwinsville.

Forever Plaid begins when the guys are given the chance to perform from the afterlife. This smash hit musical is a nostalgic homage to the music of the '50s and includes hits such as "Three Coins in the Fountain" and "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing."
